We all perceive damage in our own distinctive ways. Damage is often viewed as a negative, but from it can rise enormously powerful, and positive motivators.

If we shy away from damage, which is all around us, and do not acknowledge it, we may not learn to grow, improve, and do better.

The Grief Knot series of work is based on an actual sailors knot that is called a Grief Knot, and I have used this knot for a number of huge emotional situations or conditions that I have felt not only my own grief, but have been moved by a collective grief, and sadness for others.

I found with this simple knot that I could put inside it, all the elements with which to translate the story.
